Prerequisites for Traumatology Institute Courses
Clinical Traumatologist Program (Course 202-207)
Students must have a Master’s degree, completed or in progress, related to a clinical or counseling field; OR at least four years of counseling experience with ongoing supervision by a local registered mental health clinician.
Community & Workplace Traumatologist Program (Course 102-107)
No special requirements or degrees are necessary for this entry-level post-trauma support, non-counselling training stream.
Compassion Fatigue Resiliency & Recovery-Educator (Course 107)
This is an entry-level program and no prerequisites are required.
Compassion Fatigue Specialist Training (Course 207)

Early Intervention Field Traumatology (Course 1001)

Justice System Trauma: Correctional Facility Support Worker (Course 501)

Trauma Recovery Program (TRP)
This program is for members of the community at large who are interested in self-care and post-trauma approaches that they can use to work-through their own trauma history.
