Dr. Anna Baranowsky
CEO, Founder of Traumatology Institute
Dr. Anna is a clinical psychologist and CEO of the Traumatology Institute. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa and is recognized by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She is a Green Cross Scholar and Registered Traumatologist and Trainer.
Dr. Anna also serves on the board of directors of the Academy of Traumatology, is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and is recognized by The National Center for Crisis Management.
In Addition, Dr. Anna:
- Was named one of the top Women in the (Canadian) Defense World by Esprit de Corps Magazine.
- Is co-author of the best-sellers “Trauma Practice: Tools for Stabilization & Recovery” and “What is PTSD?” (a 2013 International Book Award finalist)
- Is creator of the powerful self-guided trauma recovery program and the online self-guided approach.
- Has conducted live training in over 12 cities in the US, Canada, and Australia.
- Created a popular trauma-focused YouTube channel with over 150,000 views.

J. Eric Gentry, Ph.D. (Consulting Director)
Dr. Gentry is a traumatologist with 20 years of clinical experience working with traumatized individuals, families and communities. Dr. Gentry has published research and technical articles in the areas of trauma treatment, scale development, and compassion fatigue. He is the co-developer of the Accelerated Recovery Program for Compassion Fatigue.
He lives in Tampa, Florida where he teaches at the University of South Florida. He is the consulting director of the Traumatology Institute (Canada). He maintains a private clinical/consulting practice. He is also a published poet/songwriter and professional actor.

Anna Kozina, M.A., C.Psych. Assoc. (Official Trainer)
Anna Kozina is a certified member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (Clinical Psychology). She is a Clinical Traumatologist and a trainer with the Traumatology Institute (Canada).
Anna Kozina has more than 10 years of clinical experience working with trauma survivors, community and workplace trauma response. She has experience in different healthcare environments including hospital institutions, private clinics, and nonprofit settings working with adults, families, and groups.
She traveled extensively in North America and Europe offering training and workshops on trauma, resiliency, compassion fatigue, social integration, and rehabilitation of children and adults with special needs.
She maintains a full-time private practice in Toronto. She has focused her practice on assessing and treating trauma disorders, chronic pain, mood, and anxiety disorders.

Tom Walker, M.A. (Official Trainer)
Tom Walker is a Trainer, Consultant and Trauma Therapist offering services through the Traumatology Institute. His previous role as the Director of Business Development and Training through the Canadian Training Institute put him in front of thousands of individuals each year. He is an in-demand trainer with a great track record. He has offered training in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, hospitals, justice organizations, group homes, youth- and adult-serving hostels, detox and intox centres and mental health and addiction services.
He has 24 years of experience working in the social services sector in frontline, management, and senior leadership roles. This also includes experience in developmental services, employment, justice, addictions and mental health. He has a Masters in Social Work, and he is also a trained Clinical Traumatologist & Certified Compassion Fatigue Specialist through the Traumatology Institute.
